Since the weather has cool down here as it were winter, and today we have World Vegan Day (next to All Souls’ Day) there is no such better thing to do, than some roasted chestnuts. Super simple to make it. Wash the chestnuts, cut the top, and soak them in water for about half an hour. Preheat the oven to 250 °C or 482 °F and in the hot oven bake them for about 25-30 minutes. Ready to be served. Happy sweet November.
Kész is. Boldog édes Novembert.
I will have to try this after your comment on my facebook page 🙂

Love chestnuts. The only thing I’m afraid of is hem exploding in the oven. Would that happen?

If you cut the top then it won’t we make cross on them as you can see on the top so the steam can go out and won’t explode and easier to crack it at the end
